Canada Wedding Photography: Heajee & David

filed under:

Wedding

Hi, I’m Andrea. I photograph love, life, and everything beautifully in-between. This space is a mix of recent sessions, storytelling moments, and whatever magic found its way in front of my lens.

Heajee has been not only one of my best friends for the past 10 years, but was one of the very first models I worked with as I started in photography! Life has definitely taken this lovely lady on quite the ride – a Korean American, born in the states, grew up in Kazakhstan, attended high school in Colorado before finally making it to Plymouth, MA where we connected all those years ago. But the story doesn’t end there!

David is quite the catch himself – a former Canadian helicopter pilot, with a background in engineering and a passion for travel! Heajee and David met at acting school in Vancouver, Canada and quickly hit it off.  They are now living in New Brunswick, Canada and are starting their own little family.

This fun wedding weekend brought friends and family together from different states and countries around the world!

For the rehearsal dinner on Heaj wore a traditional Korean dress and switched to a white wedding dress for the big day. They had a sweet and simple, outdoor, multi-cultural ceremony that also incorporated David’s Japanese heritage with an amazing display of 1000 origami paper cranes (which Heajee folded herself!)

I feel SO BLESSED to have been a part of this special day, and am looking forward to many more international adventures to come! Wishing nothing but love to this amazing couple!

Heajee, Charlie and I after the ceremony!

Stories from behind the lens — love, light, movement, and everything in between.

Behind the Camera

I’m all about genuine laughter, real connection, and moments that feel alive. I blend an earthy, grounded presence with a sense of wonder — think sunsets, spontaneous adventures, live music, art, and the little sparks of magic you only notice when you slow down enough to feel them.

When I’m not photographing people in their glow, you’ll find me teaching yoga, exploring the outdoors with my dog Charlotte, or chasing light across the South Shore and beyond.
